About Us

Owner and wine aficionado Graham Wellington opened The Vine in the Spring of 2000, with a vision of creating Anytown's finest wine bar. Trained at The Culinary Institute of Anystate, The International School of Confectionary Delight, and the John Q. Public School of fine eating, Wellington infuses every dish he creates with his extensive knowledge and passion for perfection. Chef Wellington started his career as a Chef for the Whitewater Inn, a well reviewed restaurant located in Sandy Beach, Anystate. Once word of his tasty signature dishes got out, offers from many well-known restaurants landed on Chef Wellington's plate. Although he had an affinity for the Whitewater Inn, Chef Wellington knew that greater challenges and opportunities awaited him in Anytown.

In 1998, Chef Wellington began a career as Head Chef for the Anytown Cantina in Anytown, AA. He was given room to experiment, and created quite an eclectic menu. However, he never lost sight of his passion for fine wine. He knew that in order to achieve his long standing dream of sharing great wine with the community; he would have to establish his own wine bar.

Graham Wellington opened the doors of The Vine in the Spring of 2000. Before opening the doors, he spent the previous six months traveling the globe, in search of the finest wines. Critics and patrons agree. The Vine is Anytown's best wine bar.
